my product casa-carla

Description

The project “casa vacanza” involved developing a complete website in order to promote two holiday houses (i.e. casa vacanza) in Italy and to facilitate the entire process of renting apartments.

The result was a multifaceted, clean, easy-to-use, and organic site and at the same time a coherent, unique and personalized brand.

The site required, among others, these fundamental characteristics:

  • be responsive and bilingual.
  • create an etalage-site that would be both informative and attractive, yet highly navigable and easy to access.
  • describe the apartments, the renting process, and the services offered, but in a concise, functional manner.
  • offer a full range of (automatic) features for a simple management of reservations, information requests, and reviews.

Therefore, impactful slides were added to the homepage, but with discrete, yet visible, links to direct the visitor to the needed info. The info pages are easily found through different structured navigation blocks.

SEO was taken into account with Yoast for visibility on the web.

In some cases, we preferred tables and structured content for readability and only used texts on pages where a broader discussion was required.

The site includes various customized maps in order to facilitate a clear and instant information, yet also keep the maps interactive so that they continue supporting the customer in his/her quest for information.

The core item is a booking system which includes a booking calendar that offers a number of helpful features: prices, period blocks, options for optional additional services, real-time cost calculations, and an (automated) email exchange that provides direct feedback. All of these are then integrated into the back-end system with others in order to facilitate the administration of the tenant.

Furthermore a couple of secure forms for information requests, comments, and reviews, which are essential for a business site, have been designed to facilitate the interaction between tenant and (potential) customers.

Last, but not least, a backup and a security system protects the website.
