I joined this project while they were in the midst of migrating from an old website to a new one in terms of design and layout. I provided assistance in creating pages, blogs, setting up functionalities, and finding solutions for last-minute issues. I also offered technical assistance in translating external parties' requests and providing advice on any technical improvements or unexpected issues that cropped up.

This is an example of a project where I did management & maintenance on a site that was not based on WordPress. The site already existed. The site required, among others, five fundamental characteristics. It had to: -be responsive and bilingual. -create an etalage-site that would be both informative and attractive, yet highly navigable and easy to access. -describe the apartments, the renting process, and the services offered, but in a concise, functional manner. -offer a full range of (automatic) features for a simple management of reservations, information requests, and reviews.

This is an example of an ongoing project where I take care of managing the site and help with the maintenance acting as link with the original developers of the site. The majority of the managing, which I perform myself, consists of updating texts, images, editing images, and arranging newsletters. Additionally, as part of my role I am also responsible for serving as the technical sparring partner of the owners for structural updates and requests for additional functionality from the supplier. Following the request, I handle the implementation of such additional feature(s).

Art, images, cultural events and exchanges of impressions is what this site conveys. Different sections with different functionalities and different structures are incorporated in a single frame. The different sections have an iconographic entrance, from there you go from image galleries to textual content to information in different formats.

Technically, this is a plain site with some basic but necessary functionalities. It’s a site that aims to inform a specific public on in-depth thoughts, technical, scientific content. As well as the other projects of my portfolio this site is a responsive site, protected from external attacks, reliable thanks to regular backups and maintance I provide.

This is another example of a project where I didn’t build the site myself. The website already existed, but it needed some updating and redesigning. So I took care of its management and the maintenance on a request basis. This time, as it was a personal WordPress site and I had access to the server, I could perform most of the changes and updates myself. Some components had to be restored or replaced, a couple of them required some security components and provided the back-end with a back-up system for extra security. Now and then I perform some regular maintenance.

This project involved developing and designing a simple website, with just a couple of functionalities. It is supposed to be just a way to be visible on the Internet through different digital platforms. Design and style was the main requirement, next to future maintenance and monitoring. Read more...
